Wonderful camp area with old growth trees, asphalt walking/biking trails, very clean bath/showers and tons of things to see. Our site was nestled in the trees and shrubs, couldn't put out the canopy, but we didn't need to! The shade is so dense that it is several degrees cooler here than in the sun. Campground was pretty full, but it was very peaceful and quiet. A host comes around everyday with firewood to purchase, how convenient! The only draw back to the sites is that they slope toward the front, making leveling a bit more difficult. But the view out the windows gives you the feel of being deep in the forest - just breathtaking. The beach is a bit of a walk down a paved path and the reward is a super nice beach with the shipwreck of the Peter Iredale on the shore. There is a lighthouse up the way and a lovely lake. Bikes are very popular around here and everything is very well maintained.

Immaculate park! Sites in newer section were paved, wide and neat as a pin. Restrooms and showers were large and spotless, there is a continental breakfast offered on the weekend with quite a selection of goodies. The personnel were friendly and helpful. We don't normally stay at an "in town" park, but this was was exceptional.

We were in the beach front sites, so there was no shade! It was a cool week, so the shade wasn't a factor. The ocean breezes, lovely beach, lighthouse and a walking tour of the old fort were especially nice. Lots of things to see and explore. Tons of children, and a perfect place for them! There are a couple of sea life museums and then around the fort area there is an artillery museum. Of course, a hike up to the old outpost is a must! Lovely hosts and beautiful camping. Bathrooms were not dirty so much as not well kept.

Riverbend park is outstanding! The owners are on site 24/7, ready to help with a smile. Upon arrival, you will be led to your site by one of the staff. The grass is very well maintained, the trees are lovely and the bathroom/showers are immaculate. We were parked facing the river, most of those sites are rather narrow, but the area between the front of your rig and the river is deep and shady. We totally enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Blackwell Island is a great place for family and pets! Easily accessible and right on the river. There are several water toys for rent and chairs line the river's swimming area. There is even a beach for our canine friends! The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. The spots are slightly close together as are most parks that accommodate big rigs, but fine. There were an abundance of geese and their droppings, making the area around the lake dicy, but the trees were lovely and the campground friendly. We would definitely go there again.

Lovely view of mountains and horses roaming in a field, no shade and very hot!! There are several smallish trees that will provide adequate shade in the future, but this is a new park and they are quite young. The hosts are quite pleasant and the bathrooms and showers were spotless and private. Each shower had a toilet and vanity, each room was large, private and locked. The pool was rather private, set between the buildings. It also was spotless. There is grass between the sites, some sites were a bit wider than others. Very pleasant experience.
